Walk in it
My husband is having spinal surgery this week. He said, “I have a new appreciation for people in chronic pain. You just can't understand that kind of life unless you walk in it.” God understood our kind of life perfectly, and He chose to walk in it to save us. “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (John 1:14) As we worship Him this week, we focus on the fact that Jesus didn’t just walk in it with man and disappear, He died in it…He died our death in our place. The glorious news! “For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” (Romans 5:10) Saved! Reconciled! And now we can walk in newness of life with Christ. Thank You, Jesus, for that beautiful privilege. My prayer is that we all have a renewed appreciation for our Savior, and for His children in their life struggles. May the joy nd hope f Easter change us as we walk in it together. Yours in Christ, Tracy
