Mistake? I don’t think so!
Readings: Isaiah 50:4-10, James 3:1-12, Mark 9:14-29
Do you think God is so concerned with our daily lives that He helps some people through what appears to be another’s mistake? I think God uses all things, and here are two fine examples from last week. Kris rented one refrigerator to hold lunches for the women’s event we held Saturday on the Mt. View campus. The order was somehow changed and two refrigerators were delivered. We ended up needing two refrigerators to hold all the lunches. Thank You, Lord! Our daughter had rental paperwork lost by the management company, and the new manager had to start a new agreement. That lost paperwork saved her about $500 a month on her rent. Thank You, Lord! Keep your eyes open to God’s hand moving things in your life. He wants to teach us all the time about His love, His compassion for us, His plan for little and big things that come about every day. Look at the Isaiah 50 reading, “The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.” If you want to see God moving more often, try asking Him to waken your ear to listen like one being taught. Be open and eager to listen and learn as He teaches you in His Word. Keep watching! Listening, and watching, like one being taught, Tracy
