WELCOME TO THE
VOLUNTEER MINISTRY

Why do we volunteer?
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul reminds us the body is a single unit and though it is made of many parts, it is one body. So it is with Christ. The church is the body of Christ and each one of us is a part of it. God created us as special, unique individuals with a plan and a purpose for our lives and He gave us certain spiritual gifts, abilities, talents and passions. When we use these gifts of service in Christ's name, we become His hands and feet and heart in our church, our community, our world, showing His love and care. What is it that God is calling you to do with your life? The Volunteer Ministry Team can help you find just the right fit with your talents, your interests and your time.
What are the benefits of volunteer service?
When you serve others in areas that best fit your passions, gifts and skills, you enjoy personal spiritual growth; you become a part of the church community; you have the opportunity to touch the world beyond your home; and you know the joy and satisfaction of being part of the body of Christ.
How much of your time is required?
We have opportunities to fit any schedule from a few hours a year to a few hours a week. Locations of service range from mission trips far afield to telephoning from your own home. Please call and let us help you find just the right time and location opportunity that works for you.
How do I get started volunteering or getting more information?
