Opportunities to give are everywhere we look, and in fact there are numerous organizations who are doing great things all throughout the world.  However, at Shepherd of the Desert, there's one big difference; our generosity is not about being charitable, rather it's about worship.

God instructs us, through His Word, to give regularly, generously and sacrificially out of all that He has given us... as an act of worship of Him.  Our generosity back to God is a response of gratitude, obedience and reverence of all that He is, all that He has done for us, and all that He will continue to do through us.  Our generosity with our time, abilities, and our resources is necessary, not because we serve a God that needs what we have, but because what we do with what we have directs our heart.

Being generous before God reminds us that He has given us everything we have, and can be counted on to meet every need we will ever have.  And the Church is His plan, through Jesus, to reconcile the world to Himself, to bring healing through relationships, and to support and encourage one another.  So it's important that we are generous with what we've been given to advance the gospel through His ministry.

If you are a part of the Shepherd of the Desert church community, there are a few ways that you can support the ministry of the church.

Each week, there is an opportunity, in the midst of our worship gatherings, to give.  You are welcome to participate in that time of corporate offering, or you can bring your offering to God to the church office.

You can also give your offering online by setting up an account in a couple of simple steps.  In order to do so, just visit our giving portal online by clicking here.

If you are interested in giving a non-cash offering to Shepherd of the Desert (i.e. stock, land, vehicle, equipment), please contact our Director of Operations Chuck Gerken at
