To apply for tuition assistance, you must complete two seperate applications
1. Shepherd of the Desert Education Foundation Application is due by April 15th. Families and schools will be notified by May 31st.

2. CFT/DTS Tuition Assistance Packet www.online-cfa.com is due by April 1st. Confidential Financial Analysis service is used to evaluate each family's financial need.

Tuition Grant Application for Academic Achievement
Application
Academic achievement award applications are due June 30th for the following school year. Families are notified in July. The schools receive payment in August.
Application Due Dates
April 1 – Tuition Assistance Application to CFA / Development Testing Services (CFA/DTS) needs to be completed online or postmarked before this date. (Please remember the fee.)
April 15 – The Foundation office needs a copy of:
- The application you sent CFA/Development Testing Services
- The completed white “Making Application for Tuition Assistance” sheet
- Your 2007 tax return, Form 1040, page 1 and 2
- A letter explaining any special circumstance you would like the Board to consider when reviewing your application
Please note:
Applications made after the April 15 deadline will only be considered under the special circumstances clause of the awards criteria. The special circumstances involved must be due to financial need occurring after the deadline to apply has passed.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure all the necessary forms and materials are complete and in the Foundation’s possession by the April 15 deadline to be eligible for consideration. Any consideration given to late applications will be at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.
Please be careful to fully and accurately complete the applications or the Foundation may not be able to consider your request for tuition assistance.
