Handcrafters' Guild
The Handcrafters’ Guild meets on Fridays from 10 am to noon in the Conference Room to share our love of any handcraft and the joy of Christian fellowship. It is also a place to help each other improve our skills in our chosen craft.
Saturday Knitters
On Saturdays, from 9:00am am to noon, knitting lessons are given, at no charge, to anyone of any age interested in learning or improving their knitting skills. For information, please call Pat Conrad, 480-451-3280.
Prayer Shawl Ministry - GOD'S LOVE MADE VISIBLE
Do you have a family member or friend suffering from a physical or emotional life crisis? Perhaps presenting them with a prayer shawl, prayer rose or lap robe would help. To request one, please call Sharon Barkulis at 602-787-8784. The Prayer Shawl MinistryBlessing scheduled for May 2 at the 9:30 service! If you are just beginning a Prayer Shawl, we now have sufficient lap robes but could use a few more shawls for women. We hope, in the near future, to restart our baby blanket program, once our shawls and robes are replenished. If you can knit or crochet and have not yet joined the Prayer Shawl Ministry, we would welcome your assistance and we provide the yarn. Questions? Can You Sew or Knit to Help Soldiers?
